October 22, 2008, Greenville, S.C. - Representatives of Southern Tide today announced that the company has entered into a partnership with Ocean Street, an up-and-coming band from Atlanta, Ga.
Ocean Street is quickly gaining popularity on more than 200 college radio stations with their first single "Till I'm Gone." Ocean Street combines the talents of Andy Kropf as the lead vocals and guitarist; Mark Kovaly on the keyboard and contributing vocals; and Steve Queisser on rhythm guitar and contributing vocals.
The partnership between Southern Tide and Ocean Street will allow both brands to cross-market their products. Southern Tide will also be the sole sponsor named on Ocean Street CDs and The Southern Tide brand will be represented at Ocean Street concerts.
"Our partnership with Ocean Street is a perfect match for the Southern Tide brand," said Jim Twining, CEO of Southern Tide. "The Southern Tide brand complements the unique sound of Ocean Street, and we believe that this partnership will prove to be beneficial to both parties."
